On the season finale what illness did kate's son have? Was it measles or something else? I must have missed that.

It’s like her upper lip disappears in the middle. It must just be some unique kind of deformity. I find it really distracting but I think she is a decent actor. I agree that her husband, who also plays her husband on the show, is a horrible actor.

I just assumed Catherine Reitman was related to Ivan Reitman because her mouth is just like his!

I can't stand looking at her mouth, also, I find her unlikable.

Same. Just watched and I guess I'm the judge-y mom in the playgroup, bc Kate and Anne were completely unlikable to me. And her mouth, wtf? Bad surgery?

Hope they erased the white board or whatever it was so their precocious daughter did not figure out they were a conceive now and if there were not enough reasons to keep it - oh well!

Binged it, loved it! Had a hard time buying into the Asian girl (Jenny?)'s story line, though.

I kept wondering if her lips are natural or a result of bad injections.

Yes it's so weird. She was on Blackish as Dre's female coworker

I binged it over this weekend (love that each episode is 22 minutes ). I really liked it, even though some of the scenes are ridiculous. Like, who on earth would ever masturbate in the break room at work? And while I like Anne's character, they did make her a little toooo abrasive and nasty. I did appreciate that they had her make the decision to get an abortion and didn't cop out by giving her a miscarriage. As a mom of two who had an abortion when I accidentally got pregnant with a 3rd that I couldnt' afford (mentally or financially) I really really appreciate the show acknowledging that often times it is moms who get abortions.

Overall I really enjoyed watching it. Apparently in Canada they're already on season 3. I read that Netflix will air seasons 2 and 3, but there's no word on when that will happen.

The Letdown.

Another one that’s on Amazon prime is Catastrophe

Why was that an all-time low? It was actually very realistic. You know that a very high percentage of abortions, at least in the US, are done by women who are already moms.
