Did you know John Cazale was in five movies over 6 years before dying of cancer, and EVERY ONE was nominated for Best Picture. Unbelievable.

I’m 42, from NJ. Not Italian but of course I’ve seen The Godfather trilogy. Also considered this required viewing and am surprised to see that so many people haven’t watched it.

I'm 39, married to an Italian, and also from New Jersey. Of course I've seen it. The only way you haven't seen it is if you don't want to see it. Practically every holiday some channel is running an all day Godfather marathon. Ditto Star Wars and Harry Potter.

I’m 37 and thought this was one of those movies (I & II) that were required viewing before you were allowed to tell anyone your opinion on any movie ever. It’s the measuring stick.
My boyfriend in college (now DH) hadn’t seen them and I remember wondering if we should continue on in our relationship. We then did a proper Godfather marathon.
