In general, reading someone's emails is not something to do, but if I were living under East German Style Surveillance, I might do the same.

Sounds like the rage she is showing at therapy might be appropriate.

Maybe she was looking for something specific like a birthday invitation or a sports schedule? I search under my kids' names obviously when I'm trying to find some planning email.
