We also finished up The Americans recently (and enjoyed The Crown) and are now on The Handmaids Tale and Killing Eve. I’m enjoying both. I know you said no sci fi but I usually don’t like that either but loved Stranger Things.

I liked Bosch on Amazon. It doesn't have the historical context, but it does the LA atmosphere so well- a slight noir feel and just a great show.

Peaky Blinders on Netflix--I think it has all of the qualities you mentioned + they are up to Season 4, I believe, with Season 5 coming out this year.

Jack Ryan is fun to watch
