The problem is people like you equating the love of 2 men or 2 women with murder.

Moreover, most people (like 99.9%) don't have an ongoing natural inclination to murder someone every single day, where it's part of your dna to murder. Whereas being gay isn't just an urge, it's part of your dna. Just like I could not decide to become gay and be attracted to my same sex, a gay man can't snap his fingers and decide he is no longer attracted to men but only to women.

I've never come across an argument that successfully argues for the evilness of 2 men or 2 women in loving, mutually satisfying relationships beyond God saying it's bad (even the argument where God says its bad because those relationships aren't meant to procreate, as if that's evil in an of itself).

There's no inherent evilness in homosexuality. There's just not. Unlike other sins such as murder, which even without God telling you it's bad, you know it's bad because you are harming not just the person whose life you took but all those who loved him/her.

BS. My sins are bespoke. I am a walking sin artisanal workshop, not a factory. I don't do mass produced sins. Soon my sins will be completely organic, but I am still having sourcing issues for some ingredients.

It's also clear on greed but you don't see churches stopping greedy people from participating or calling out their son every week.

Among Christian denominations, the Episcopal Church, the UCC (United Church of Christ) and the Disciples of Christ are the most progressive and the welcoming and affirming to the LGBTQ community. The UCC church I attend does a really good job with inclusive language (God is not gendered, for instance) and with message that we are all created to be just who we are, just as we are.

The Episcopal church we attend has a long history of accepting LBGTQ people. We have a gay associate rector. Same-sex couples are active members, and part of the church leadership. I assume that people who are openly gay and remain religious find a church that fully accepts them and doesn't think that their sexual orientation is inherently sinful or disordered.

Other people who are gay and religious, but belong to a church that does not accept them, presumably struggle to reconcile those things. Although I think that few people can stand to live with that tension and internal conflict for very long. They either begin to hate themselves, or repress parts of themselves, or they reject their faith.

Many religious movements aren't bigoted and realize that it shouldn't require a second thought. Are you kind to others? Do you help make the world a better place? Find a place to pray and build community that is good enough to deserve you if so.
