My dad had an affair with his sister in law (my aunt). They got married after they both divorced from their spouses (my mom and uncle), and they have been together for twenty years.

Mine won't end well.

One of my relatives had an affair with his friend's wife. They've been together for many years, but I don't think it's all roses. I never knew how they met, but his daughter told me some years back. Now I understand why her son hates him, never comes over.
If something happens to one of them it will be sad because they've burned a lot of bridges.

My best friend married his AP, she left him for a woman.

Ended the best way possible.

Mine did. Been married almost 15 years.

Been with mine for a year and very happy.
Not ideal but it worked for us and we both have kids.

Believe it or not, most people who are cheated on stay in their marriage. You would likely never know any of it went down, even with fairly close friends.

Many women stay because of the kids and lifestyle. They often know about the cheating.

Yep that too. All different scenarios. Also, one never knows what the AP will do. If they get mad or jealous they often let the other spouse know. I've seen that as well. Or they end up bringing a wacko into their lives. My client (long story) broke into her AP's house while they were on vacation. I don't know what she was looking for but we knew it was her. My client was seeing my old roommate's sisters husband. I was also friends with their babysitter, lol so I got info. from all sides. Both couples ended up divorcing.

That is really dumb. Many people have home surveillance. Your nosy neighbors etc. Remember Chris Watts neighbor showed the investigators his tape of him backing up his truck into the garage?

Best advice - don't do it.
