Scandal is a parody of a good show, so no surprise Tony seems like a parody of a good boyfriend...

(If you don't get this, wait till you watch a few more episodes, it becomes surreal)

Season 2 was so hot and then the show just got lame. How about that one season where she's just trapped in the dungeon or whatever that was? They lost me after that.

I think he is incredibly hot. His personality and power in Scandal are what make him so attractive. The chemistry between him and Kerry Washington in Season 2 is off the charts. I think he was perfect for his role in every way except as Olivia Pope’s love interest. Forget the Charlotte York thread, there is no way Olivia Pope would have been drawn to such a loser.

So true! There aren't that many good-looking politicians, so it is more believable that he is just "so-so" and thus very believable. Throughout time, gorgeous women have dated toads. I have seen drop dead gorgeous blonde girls with fat old baldies. It's about money and power for sure.

I just looked him up, and he's 58! I think he's pretty handsome for 58.

He's attractive, but the show just lost its mind after the second season I think. So no matter who they cast in there, it just was not watchable. It started out so strong.
