That was my takeaway as well!
It has a bar, guest bedroom and excercise room too. It doesn’t feel that big when you go down there.
Just stop
most people in America can not afford a 500 sq ft studio.
Saying it doesn’t feel big when you obviously have a minimum 18K sq ft house, is obnoxious.

Likewise, I wouldn't allow a sleepover to a house I've never been to nor do I know the parents. I also wouldn't want my child sleeping in a basement without an adult there.

We do tons of sleepovers. In fact, it's the rare weekend when I don't have a bunch of kids at my house. This is not the norm.
Also, I wouldn't check with other parents - nothing is going to work for everyone and once you check, you are going to have to pick which kids can't make it to the party. If there is a particular kid that your son wants there, he should know their sports schedule, so you can ask him.
Totally get it...to each his own...but this sounds like my idea of personal hell.

I think we had 4 or 5 boys over. They slept in the tv room. They stayed up until 11 or so, I think. It was fine.
Your basement sounds perfect.
Don't worry about the nutty parents responding to this thread. They will simply decline and you won't have to worry about them.
What activities did you plan?
His friends seem to play fortnite and roblox. We don’t have either. DS isn’t a big gamer.
My 7yo would play games all day everyday if I let him.

The size of the basement is an insignificant part of my post. I was just saying we have a good space for the boys to hang out and sleep.
