Sorry - I meant the tab for what parent's and kids say. I agree that Common Sense is more conservative - but it is a good starting point for decision making.

I tried watching it with my eight year old. I hadn't seen it since it came out back in middle school. I remembered it being more family friendly. I turned it off when he started talking out of his ass. It hilarious to me when I was a kid. I immediately pictured getting an email from her teacher about it and turned it off. I forgot all about the villain being trans. Fortunately, we never got that far.

My kids saw it at 8 — generally ok but the kissing thing at the end is more than a little retro and jarring but we had a conversation about it

That's not homophobic, that's tranny ickyness which is still not normalized.
What would you want your son to do , love being kissed by a man who claims to be a woman?
