I’m Indian, not racist towards my own people and just noting that for Indians to win in conservative states, they need to hide their Indian heritage to a certain degree.
This is true for any nonwhite person. Conservatives don't consider you a "real" American if you have an ethnic sounding first name. Look at every black Republican. They all have "white" sounding names.
