I'd guess that this didn't include travel, correct? It sounds like you may have had to make at least 7 trips (one each for the IUIs, one each for the egg retrievals and then one each for the frozen transfers), or did you live there at the time?

I was living in Germany during treatment. Lower cost was a nice benefit, but there were challenges (language barrier, restrictions on treatment, etc).

3 IUIs 1 full NCIVF and 1 cancelled cycle before retrieval about $7500.

3 IUI cycles = $1,500 each out of pocket (resulting in a singleton birth)

2 IVF cycles = $8k each including about $1,500 each cycle for donor sperm (performed abroad where I was living, so no travel costs)

Did the $200,000 include the DE + GC?

Stopped counting at $100k, but more than that with travel, meds, etc. No donor or surrogate.

About $20k. No insurance coverage:
- one free IVF cycle when we was part of a study
- one IVF we paid for
- one FET
Had two singletons

I estimate about $55,000

Dealing with sperm donor...let's say $8,000
A bunch of IUIs... let's say about $2,000
One out of pocket IVF...$18,000
7 or so were covered by insurance but travel, etc...maybe $8,000
Dr. Braverman/immunology & associated meds...about $12,000
And a shit-ton of things like supplements, acupuncture, etc etc...I did all of it.

$60K for three IVF-ICSI babies.

I did 6 fresh cycles and 3 FETs.

I did have some insurance coverage for a few cycles.

We spent about $15k on 3 cycles not including embryo freezing for 2 years. This is with 50% insurance coverage.
We ended up with 3 kids: twins and a singleton. One cycle did not work. I know we were very fortunate. d

About $12k. 3 retrievals (plus freezing fees and PGS testing for 1 of those), 3 transfers and storage fees. My employer offered 2 different plans with IVF coverage. Maxed out my coverage with one plan (no deductible and hit my $3500 OOP maximum one year with 1 full IVF cycle) then switched to the the other plan for the rest.

About $45k so far - 2 NCIVf and 2 rounds of IVF, with some (but not much) insurance help. Looking at DE now, so guessing at least another $40k or so.

Did you do 3 egg retrievals of the 8 IVF rounds because the other 5 rounds were cancelled? Just trying to understand how the numbers connect!

No. All 8 were egg retrievals. 5 of them were pretty much covered by insurance, and then 2 were NCIVF and one was a regular cycle not covered. No pgs except for DE cycle.
