For me, the trick is to double the soaking time and to soak every day. The instructions say to soak the first day, but I do that X2 and then re-soak every day.

I've seen at CVS. I can't recall if I bought it there or from Amazon.

I didn't do the pre-soak, or daily soaks. Only did a single hour. Still did the job. I think it was a week before my feet started to peel, then maybe a week of peeling. It also got rid of a rather stubborn plantar's wart, bonus!

If you are a runner, you might end up getting new blisters where some of the calluses were removed (or even just diminished).

It may be worth it to try out the Costco brand and see if it works if you follow all the directions. I would love for this to become as cheap as $5, because even at $5, the manufacturers and retailers will make a good profit. For my first peel, I was nervous and really wanted the original. I am sure for my subsequent peels, I will be comfortable using the less expensive brand from Costco.

All Costco’s are different unfortunately. I’m not in dc but mine didn’t have it.

I am the PP who wrote the big dissertation about it on this thread. When you soak your feet every day, the whole process is over pretty quickly with the feet shedding only for 3-4 days. The initial few days after using the peel, there is no change in your feet, except your feet becomes a bit shiny, dry and tight. Do not moisturize even if your feet feel very dry. After that your feet start developing cracks that are look like delicate cracked glass ornaments for a day or so. Then the first bubble of skin appears and before you know it the dead skin just starts falling out in big patches.

I had thought that this will be a very long drawn process but it actually was over very quickly and painlessly. Best to do this during winter when you are in socks most of the times.

It did that for me. It will remove or significantly reduce the callouses. It may require more than one application though depending on the size and depth of the callouses.

No. You can easily exercise etc. The peeling happens with dead skin cells only. It is not raw or tender. The only thing is that the shedding of skin is pretty heavy, (heard is described as akin to a middle aged python shedding), so you need to wear socks to not gross out people and limit the skin from being shed all over the place.
