Love should be about the other person. If it’s all about them “loving” you, this is just using someone else for self validation. Eventually, you’ll get bored with him and move on, which isn’t really fair.

Nobody was talking entitlement here. OP wants somebody to think shes great (and, I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt) somebody she can think is great, too. He'll pay attention to her, want to do things with her, want to have sex with her, and she will pay attention to him, want to do things with him, and want to have sex with him.

YES. This is a healthy relationship. It is SO right and SO normal to want somebody to think you are special! I don't know why some of you are dumping on OP.

People are dumping on OP because most posters have miserable relationships.. I'm convinced most married just because it was " time" or because they felt their clock ticking and have no idea what it's like to be in a healthy relationship.
