I watched the first episode and I wasn't impressed by how the kitchen drawers simply held like sized items in random boxes.

Honestly, the Kardashians have better organized kitchens and pantries.

I think once you have a lot less stuff, you don't really needs tips on organization. She throws in some like how to fold clothes or the tip to store bags inside other bags. Other than that, i think it's just common sense like storing like-with-like, make sure everything has a home.

She wasn't great, but he was definitely a dick. They both weren't winners.

For someone teaching organization, her book was extremely disjointed, repetative, and jumped all over the place.

I wondered but her husband kissed her at the end so probably not. I admire her for not being insecure about it. It's life.

I thought the exact same thing. I figured it was herpes. I noticed the editors were kind to include more shots from the good side. But then the husband kissed her and that made me think not herpes.

I didn't notice her mouth. But "I want boobies" don't know if I find that cute or a little too much.

So far I am enjoying the show. I'm inspired to KonMarie my kitchen.

I kind of used to roll my eyes at the idea of sparking Joy but I like the idea of thinking about what You want to keep vs a deficit mindset of what you want to get rid of.

the difficult thing for me is that we are planning on having a second kid so we are keeping a lot of my first child's stuff it doesn't really spark Joy but I guess it will spark future Joy?

We're doing that too. I think it is tied to a dream that is joyful, and frankly it would be wasteful to get rid of and replace it all.

Yeah, MK isn’t a minamalist. She just wants you to own your stuff. She also has a lot is tips on how to organize and store your things so that you can access and see it so that you don’t go out and buy more.

Taking the spark joy thing too literally misses the point. No one is advocating throwing out toilet plungers. Rather, it’s to challenge your relationship with the stuff in your house. We hold on to too much which creates clutter which causes stress.

Or, if you want to spin it literally...it does bring a sense of joy knowing that your toilet plunger has a special place in your home in the case your plumbing fails.

Well, there is a certain amount of practicality involved. A toilet plunger doesn't spark joy but every house should have one.

One of the episodes featured a family thinking about a third baby, but the husband was an ass so not sure how will helpful it would be.

I wish they read/spoke the subtitles. I miss them sometimes when I'm cooking or doing stuff with the tv on.
