Your kids sat to eat and drink on garden furniture that was for sale? Am I reading that correctly?

Maybe your kids are very neat eaters but...no, no one of any age should be eating and drinking on something that's for sale. If it's metal or plastic with no cushions, maybe. But if it was cushioned--wow. Do people really do that?

That’s a spot-on comparison! I also hate the new Target layout! Christmas shopping was the worst- they stashed stocking stuffers around in every section so I’d find a bath bomb, walk to the next section where there was another bath bomb option and then I’d wonder what other options were there but it was an Easter egg hunt at that point. Put things where they’re supposed to be so I can see it all and my brain doesn’t explode.

Anyone else notice they’ve gotten rid of “boys” and “girls” clothes signs? Doesn’t matter to me one bit, just something I noticed.

I am so confused by the clothing section. The only saving grace is their app is excellent at showing what is in store, so I usually look on there to make sure I didn't miss anything. More than once I've found an item I want to look at in the app, can't find it in store, and had to find a staff member to help me locate it. Always have had it, their inventory is very accurate in the app, it's just a nightmare to find items.

Great for the people who come to look at tables and, I dunno, actually buy one. I don’t like having to make other people’s kids move off the merchandise, so I probably wouldn’t shop there for that.

Is the FairOaks one remodeled?

I agree m. My nice Target now looks like a cluttered Wal-Mart. I actually don’t even buy any kids clothing from there at all due to how crappy it is. I can’t find anything and the selection is hideous.

I, for one, hope they do not add seating everywhere. What a potential nightmare of bums napping and teens languishing. Been pregnant myself plenty of times and never needed to sit unexpectedly. I don't think that's normal.

I’ve had a crying baby I’ve had to nurse a few times and target and rather than do it at the Starbucks I’ve always felt more comfortable in the less open garden section. I also hope there will be a few scattered seating options

I hate it too. It seems really cluttered and messy. There's not enough space for them to have this type of layout. I want clearly marked aisles like before.

I think Target is damned if they do, damned if they don't. They have to continually reinvent themselves to get shoppers a reason to physically go into their stores. They are becoming more like department stores with shops within shops and cut out areas vs the rows of goods with florescent lighting above as we've come to know department stores.

I always have my airpods with me so I can listen to podcasts or music while shopping

I’ve been to one of the redesigned stores and one of the things I noticed was the reduced selector shoes. Not my favorite place for shoes, but I still thought it sucked. It is hard to shop for a skirt or something because you have to look in too many places.
