You have Jay Z, Questlove, and other celebs refusing to participate. Not even Celine "I'm your angel" Dion. Only John Legend stepped up. The women who came forward in recent years were of age. The women at the houses in GA and Chicago are of age. Police have been to both residences and gave an all clear. He called himself the black Hugh Hefner, and right now that's what he's looking like. How do you get him?
Why was he acquitted?

There are women on the show that were not of age when they were with him. I believe they said that IL age of consent was 17, and episode 5(?) profiles a 14 yo that met him at his trial. He had sex with her when she was 16.
It’s infuritaing that he wasn’t convicted with the video but when the girl in the video denied it was her, it’s like all the eye witnesses didn’t matter to the jury.
The issue was that the girls own parents were claiming it wasn’t them in the videos.

DP. I still hold out that MJ was not a proven pedophile. I realize I may be deluding myself but I've followed the release of FBI materials since his death and stand by my beliefs:

R. Kelly is a whole different level of a monster in plain sight.
MJ was in bed with other people’s children. Sure the parents allowed it/wanted money.. how does anyone justify this? Same way they justify RKellys behaviour “he wouldn’t do anything REALLY wrong.

We also need to stand by black women and create momentum of protecting black girls.

I read an interesting article during the early "me too" days that black women are more hesitant to accuse black men because of the historically unfair treatment of black men in the justice system. Does any of that factor in here?
