Very efficient and knows my house inside out. Since I pay by the hour, she will do everything that needs to be done to run a house smoothly. Laundry, cleaning, changing linens, windows, recycling, decluttering, organizing, food prep, cleaning car, garage, yard, babysitting, ironing, wrapping gifts etc. Basically she helps me to do whatever I need done.
That’s a part time housekeeper
Where do you find someone like that and how much do you pay?
We have been living overseas and have become accustomed to this approach... daily. We're really spoiled, I know, but I also wonder how it's going to work out when we return to the US.

Anonymous wrote:I love mine for many reasons but especially because of clutter: she caught me one time doing the last bit of pick up before she came and said ‘Stop! That’s what you pay me for!’ She picks up and organizes everything from the tiny little pieces of my DD playmobile houses and complex art projects to (for example) hand cleaning 2 dozen cookie cutters and frosting impliments. She cleans my fridge each week, opens 1/3 of the windows each times to clean inside & out. She makes the beds (and would do the sheets too but I have extra sets and like to line dry when possible.)
Yeahhh we’d go down to beans and rice before I gave her up. And yes! We are messy and I fully own that! My one prenup w/my DH was that I would never clean toilets.
