My GF and I are both divorced. She so clearly would not have been into me. She liked her asshole ex husband enough to marry him and bear children with him. She wouldn’t have looked at my nerd self fifteen years ago. Plus now she will never want to proceeatw with me.
Am I second best? Are my genetics inferior?

Not relevant to OP's situation. She has to work with her bf and his first choice every day. Most people don't have to spend time with their spouse's first choice and/or don't spend time around their own first choice.
