I had trips like that when I had just started dating DH. It’s fun to think about the days when it would be 4pm before we’d make our way out of the room. I can see this happening if you married very young or as a virgin.

I got married in my 20’s and we went on a honeymoon. Of course we had sex but we had a blast exploring and traveling together too. I smile just thinking about those experiences. Go on the trip for sure.

We had sex once or twice a day during our honeymoon. We have had never leave the hotel room trips since then though. Grandparents take the kids for the weekend, and we just have sex, then take hours showering and getting ready to go to an adult restaurant, then back again for more sex.

You're not going to have all that much sex. If it takes more than an hour out of any given day, I'd be surprised.

Because you go to Europe to travel while a student. And then visit for business. And then have some vacations there married and then with kids to see castles and museums. And food and cafes. None of that sounds like a honeymoon to me.

My view is less narrow. Why not any Caribbean place you love? Thailand. Australia. Some one off Asian country with wonderful beaches. Greek islands. Just not Old Europe for me for a honeymoon.

We did 2-3 times a day on honeymoon but we still had time for lots of other activities, beach, snorkeling, reading, eating, etc

Europe is hard to honeymoon to.He will be jet lagged and want to lay in bed all morning and get it on. Not be up and about checking out chic cafes or markets or museums like you will. My DH and I fought a lot on our Europe trip and in hindsight I wish I stayed in bed with him it’s really hard to agree on being the same “speed” in Europe.

You’ve been together 4 years! There’s not much that’s going to happen on your honeymoon that hasn’t already occurred in your bedroom many times. I say go on a great trip to Spain and enjoy! Just keep in mind you’ll be exhausted the first couple days from the wedding and travel. Ideally you could build in a day or two of relaxing at home post-wedding before your flight. We did this and it made a huge difference— I was so grateful we hadn’t decided to leave the day after the wedding.

Suggestion: don't have sex until the honeymoon. If possible, don't have too much face to face time until the honeymoon. That will insure you'll crave each other intensely, and will likely cause you bo to stay in he hotel room for days on end.

Whatever you guys are typically like on vacation you’ll probably be like on your honeymoon. After a long relationship and living together it’s not like there’s a pent up passion you’ve had to deny
