This woman’s mother thinks their relationship is fine while her daughter is raising a child alone while engaged to a man who can’t even agree on a marriage date.

Anything it seems to keep up the delusion that everything is fine.

I don’t think the mother is delusional. I’ve watched her interviews and think she knows exactly what’s going on. Remember that pregnant teacher in Maryland. Her family “played along” too.

I get there may be reasons why they lived apart (no clue why, but doesn't mean you are a murderer), but if they were co-parenting a 1 year old and engaged to be married, there is NO WAY they go 10 days without talking. It would be one thing if it was a shared custody thing and they didn't get along and that was his week or something, but it doesn't sound like that was the case. (and it would still be weird she'd go 10 days without communicating about her child whether they were estranged or not).

I've been following the story via the coverage on the Today Show. The mom has been careful to say that the missing woman and the fiance had had a "loving relationship" so it seems at least she would be surprised if the fiance were the killer, but the 10 day lapse seems like a giveaway.

Police may have told her not to tip him off. He has her granddaughter - the mom must be in agony.

This. If it weren’t him, he’d have reported her missing by 24 hours. Makes no sense that he didn’t otherwise.

Yep. This fiancé did it but he’s smarter than the other Colorado man who killed his two daughters and wife - this guy refuses to do ANY interviews, with or without her family.

Right. But he's "cooperating with the investigation," which is code for: "We've nailed him and are just waiting to have sufficient evidence to prove it before going public and making a formal charge."

But isn’t there concern for the baby? She’s in his care

He knows he’s being watched. Plus his mom is helping him I read.

Of course he did it or knows who did.

No, the fiancé is in Colorado with the child. He was never in Idaho, where the cell phone was used.

He has a car. Or he could have taken hers. You realize you can drive across borders?

The mom dropped her child with him on the 22nd, they argued, she died. There is absolutely no reason in the world otherwise she would have spent Thanksgiving without her 1-year-old who she went grocery shopping with that same day. On top of not calling to check in on the child at bedtime ever?

Please - no one is this stupid.

Why would a mom abandon her child on the 2nd biggest holiday of the year? Why would a woman acting effectively as a single mom turn down hours at work and/or overtime holiday pay? Why would she only text work three days after she disappeared and not check in with her 1-year-old?

He killed her and she died on the 22nd.

The fiancé did it. He was the last to see her on the 22nd but it was her MOTHER who reported her missing on the 2nd of Dec.

Anonymous wrote:OP here. I’ve been following closely. The relationship between Kelsey and her fiancé seems strange. Had her mother spoken about their relationship? Why do you think the baby is currently with the fiancé? Why didn’t fiancé report her missing? He isn’t a suspect at this time I guess. I feel so bad for that little girl.

Police lie about this all the time.
