A candidate that stayed married, despite the challenges, because inside, she's still an ordinary person.
Stacy Abrams and Angela Alsobrooks are not.

Because it's normative for people to be involved with a significant other. It's what we do.
And anyone who isn't involved in a relationship, or seeking one, is an outlier, and probably is not the person I'd want in a leadership position of any significance.
I want someone normal. Not someone who cannot, or does not, maintain a relationship with a partner.

If a person can’t demonstrate that they can be with someone, at least for a while, they have no business trying to be a politician. Being single for life is more weird than being divorced three times or a serial adulterer

What are the circumstances of that? Divorce? Widowed? Or did she just willing decide that she’d rather place her child at greater risk of a variety of bad things that are statistically far more common to children of single mothers than those raised by two parents? Because bad decision making isn’t a trait I’d look for in a governor.

How are they doing with relationships?
