We have had really up and down experiences here, but all in all, we’re happy. In large part it is due to the pre-K teachers (Sharks) who are incredible! My take is that there is not a solid curriculum throughout the Center so classrooms are hit and miss depending on the teachers, and there’s a lot of turnover. Also behavior doesn’t seem to be managed very well so there have been some issues in that regard (again outside of current pre-K teachers who have really turned the class around and are making great strides in preparing the kids for school). All in all, it’s a warm community, with an outdoor location they take great advantage of and some strong teachers but it’s probably lacking in strength of the program overall.

This is incredibly disappointing to here. Which classes are these teachers in???

I was the poster who pulled her baby out after a month but that was under the old management. I understand that the management has since changed and the new director of ERCDC used to be a teacher in the toddler room. When they combined classes at the end of the day, she would spend time with my baby and was so loving and caring towards her. Ms. Karen was a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing situation and with her in charge, I’m sure ERCDC is much better. We are no longer in the area, otherwise I would give them another chance.

Bump! Considering ERCDC and KinderCare Glover Park. Thoughts?

The PP is a troll always wanting to stir up trouble. This troll has nothing better to do than to write short, snarky remarks on recent and old posts. Always negative and nonproductive. Has anyone else noticed this? And BTW a child can have plenty of growth after attending for one month, starting with gaining independence and confidence.

There is a troll. Someone who is very unhappy and writes unfair and insensitive remarks. Always trying to belittle the pp. If we just ignore, I am hoping they will stop

That's a good question. I think a big part of that is connected to the previous administration/management. After the management transition last fall, they actually grew to full capacity by March 2020. Unfortunately, of course, the pandemic has affected those numbers, but it seems like they've been steadily adding new students and staff since reopening in August.

As for the outdoor space on site, it's definitely basic, but I love that my child (3 yo) gets to go on regular nature walks in neighboring areas. Since the changeover, the kids spend a lot of time outdoors (weather-permitting), and my son loves his teachers. We also love the new director--she is kind and knowledgeable, and actually has her infant daughter enrolled in the program too.

The outdoor space looks abysmal and it’s empty whenever I drive by. Not exactly confidence inspiring.
