Nora School in Silver Spring, Oneness Family Montessori in Bethesda, Blythe-Templeton on Capitol Hill. I know none of these are that close to you but even if they don't work you could visit them to give your kid a sense of hope that better options are out there and their staff may have ideas for similar programs in VA.

Is this OP saying student had an IEP or a PP describing what their family had/experienced.

PP here whose kid has similar issues. You really need an IEP, not a 504. You can't get special placements or staff time unless you have an IEP.

Did you have a 504 plan as you were going throught this year’s problems? If not, why not? (Turned down by school? Didn’t realize you could get one?)
