Way over seasoned, and not in a good way.

Plus their music is deafeningly loud.

Their classic tacos are great. I always get the tongue and tripa and add salsa to taste.
The "fancy" ones are somewhat heavy on the seasoning, but personally I like the invention that went into the recipes. And compared to BarTaco Bamba is a lot better value.

I've never had authentic street tacos in Mexico so I cant compare, but, I really love the tacos at Gringos and Mariacchi. They have 2 locations, one in Bethesda and one in Park Potomac, neither is terribly far from Silver Spring/Wheaton area

+1 this and the Tortas Y Tacos mentioned above on Columbia Pike in Arlington are the two best I have found.

You beat me to it! The street tacos are absolutely the best thing on the menu at El Paso.

I'm not a fan of District Taco. I think their tacos are dry and bland.

I love El Paso and so glad one of the locations is near me. (Anita’s is good for New Mexican food). I love their al pastor street tacos.

I was underwhelmed with District Tscos. And hate Bamba. The only other place that’s good is BarTaco.

What part is prohibited?

Taco El Chilango food truck in Arlington (Rosslyn). Tastiest, most authentic tacos I’ve ever had.

El Chilango, the taco truck on 355 in Gaithersburg or Taco Bar near Rio.
