I have an 8 year old girl who is in a 5. Her feet are pretty big among her friends, they’re typically in 2-3. There seems to be a big range of shoe sizes at every age, my 5 year old is only in a 9 toddler shoe when most of her friends are in 12-13.

Yup. My fourth grader is in a women’s size 9.

If she’s tall, that seems small to me...my 7 year old girl is roughly 85% for height and in a 3, about to go to a 3.5. Her petite 8 year old girlfriend wears a 13, but is easily 6 inches shorter.

Ok I’m starting to see that my kid has big feet! Age 8- size 6!
I was trying to share his shoes with a same aged friend and just assumed all kids his age were wearing size six, but they were in a 3.

3, I think. He is about 40th percentile for height. So a little shorter than average.
