It involves more cooking (either meal prepping or preparing nightly), but you'll see results in a week. I eat a lot of avocado, eggs, and seeds/nuts to get in enough fats and calories. I had always eaten mostly carbs as a vegetarian, but I was amazed what happened when I stopped and how much better I felt.

Vegetarian for 39 years here. This is off the OP's question - but it drives me bonkers when folks assume all vegetarians are trying to lose weight, or only want to eat steamed broccoli. We like a hearty sandwich, or a good piece of pie, as much as the next person!Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:If it helps, cheese technically isn’t vegetarian. It requires rennet, which is from the stomach of a killed calf. So don’t eat cheese.
Stick with real food and stay away from those frozen vegetarian Frankenfoods.
I eat tons of those. Love 'em, and I'm a body builder with very low body fat and pretty high muscle mass. YMMV.
