Colleges only look at the section scores (out of 800) and/or composite (section scores added together, out of 1600). They do not look at the # wrong.
Each test has its own predetermined scoring scale (sometimes called a "curve" although it isn't a curve like one might have for an ordinary school test). The scoring scale is based on the relative difficulty of the test and involves a complicated process called equating.
