It’s the battle for family culture and identity again. It rears it’s head in the mother-in-law daughter-in-law relationship.
My kids, especially my younger son, look exactly like my dad. It makes me happy because for heaven’s sake, I relocated to my DH’s home town and birthed two children who have his last name. The least my kids can do is look like my side of the family, LOL.
