We do not have children. I am just thinking if a little kid wakes up early and tries to wake him, will he blow up then too?

I’d be more worried about how you play the victim to manipulate people. If you do that to children, it’ll mess them up and create anxiety. Stop being so melodramatic.

That’s not a freak out on his part, yours perhaps. Deep breaths.

Who really knows OP? He may, he may not. Even you may, you may not. Time will tell.

Go do something productive with your time. Such a childish post.

What time do you actually need to leave?

If someone woke me up to ask me to wake up in 30 minutes, I’d be pissed off. If I need to wake up in 30 minutes, wake me up in 30 minutes. JFC. What a weird thing to do. And if I were waking up to run an errand like this that I don’t care about, I’d need about 5 minutes to get ready. I wouldn’t need 45 minutes of prep time, so if you woke me 30 minutes before you thought I needed to be up, then at the actual time you thought I needed to be up, and it turns out that’s 30 minutes earlier than I really need, I’d be irritable all over again.

Kids usually are not a buffet that needs picking up. What a load of projecting crap, you like to be a victim, don't you?

Man wanted to sleep in and had to go get a buffet?! That you need to get. NEED! Team DH, let the man sleep in on the weekend. I like to sleep in too, i love to sleep in on the weekends, I'd be ticked off too. I am a woman, if that makes any difference. You sound like a nightmare that has to do what she wants to do, when she wants to do it. I assume he agreed to this 11am pick up the night before? Though, it could be that he didn't, that he doesn't care about a buffet, that he couldn't imagine NEEDING it and that you are a nutcase.

So he sleeps in regularly? Why? It sounds like there’s an underlying issue.

What's the big deal sleeping in? It's not like they have kids.

He just has to be up 10ish to go pick up furniture.

Yes, he will.

Even worse during the newborn phase when you're already sleep deprived.

That mat be more important to him than some dumb piece of furniture that only you care about.

I’m sure your idea involves his oral gratification.
