They just do not make good kids movies anymore, right? I've watched some of these recently and they totally hold up to me, but maybe it's just nostalgia.

I don't think the live action ones are as good but the CG movies of today (i.e. Pixar) are much better than the animated movies of our day.

I think you want classic Disney live-action films. (Parent Trap is one).

By real, I'm not sure if you mean live-action, or live-action that's realistic fiction only. If you're willing to include fantasy/sci-fi elements, then you might also try the following movies:

(These may have objectionable language)

air Bud (the original) is really good. And the gazillion sequels with the puppies are dumb but are so cute it doesn’t matter.

If you’re kids are okay with some sad or scary bits, the remake of Pete’s Dragon fro a few years ago was sooooo good. (Robert Redford is the grandpa.)

Parent Trap, Pollyanna, and the Happiest Millionaire were on constant rotation in my house growing up.

Also maybe Bedknobs and Broomsticks, although that feels a little more dated. (But Angela Lansbury is a national treasure.)
