I had not realized this was the first year that this was being offered across the county. I would love to find students who have already participated in something like this at MC.

And you think a comminity college English class will be more challenging than AP English?

I have not taken English at Montgomery College but I've taken a few 100 level classes and for the most part they were filled with people whose written and spoken English would not have passed muster with my 9th grade english teacher, let alone my AP teacher. I generally found 100 level classes to be a joke at MC. No way would i encourage my kid to take low level classes there for the "challenge".
