Would you allow your two year old to have a couple bites of edibles? Would you allow your 5 year old to vape?
Your reasons for (hopefully...) saying 'of course not' are the exact same reasons you should not force consumption onto your infant. It affects brain development....this is a very clear cut "duh. NO." scenario
I’m not OP but omg even I don’t have a “couple bites” of edibles that would be so much. A single hit from a vape can change how you feel.
The amount of milk transfer is tiny tiny. Can it impact a developing brain? Seems quite possible. But your analogy fails because of portion size which is apparently due to ignorance.
2nd poster, it is best that you never give advice on baby care, and if you have not yet had children, wait several years until you grow up.

Mostly non-existent benefits--? ?
Yes. Every study has concluded that there are a few short term benefits and virtually no long term benefits to breastfeeding. Certainly not enough to subject your baby to marijuana, which does transfer in not insignificant amounts.

I have a 2 month old but it didn’t destroy my ability to evaluate evidence.
It’s like saying “would you give your 2 yr old a Long Island iced tea?” Obviously breast milk can contain alcohol but nowhere near a high proof liquor. Edibles often have high high concentrations of THC.
A more accurate anology would be, would you give your 2 yr old a muffin made in a bowl in which edible batter was made, knowing it hadn’t been washed between and the muffin now definitely has some THC content?
And my answer is, maybe if my kid was really hungry and that’s all I could give her?
