This. Keep it simple.

My son just turned 12 and he’s always indecisive or says “whatever you want”. I now make him provide an answer as I can’t see him functioning like that as he gets older. He did tell me once that he was nervous about making the wrong decision. We discussed why being wrong can be a learning opportunity.

As for bday, we always do Dave & Buster’s with a few friends.

Too many choices! I would make a list of 5 places that you feel he would enjoy and is in your budget. If he can’t pick 1, have him cross 2 off. Then show him the 3 and say that if he can’t pick one you will do it for him. Choose whichever would be easiest for you—-budget/time/location wise. L
