Is throwing off the chains of racial oppression not a good enough reason?

If you still vote for hogan, how do you look yourself in a mirror and say you're NOT a racist a-hole? Because you can't. You had a chance to vote for a Black governor, but you didn't. You voted for another cracker, yet again.

You might as well just burn a cross in your front yard if you vote for hogan, because that's what you're saying.

So the *only* thing that matters is the race of the candidates? Policies or ideology have no bearing on the question? That's remarkably myopic, and not the basis upon which I prefer to cast my vote.

Also, PP, did you vote for Michael Steele over Ben Cardin for Senate in 2006?

No, I voted for Cardin because micheal steele is an uncle tom house negro, not a Black man.

Black men are not republicans. Black men have always abhorred republicans all through history.

Michael Steele has consistently spoken out against Trump and his destruction of the republican party. You can disagree with his politics, but using antiquated (and racist) terminology to describe black republicans betrays your true beliefs.

Hogan has continued to tout himself as the Education Governor while siphoning off money from MCPS schools.

The beltway widening/I270 widening ideas are election-year gimmicks that won't happen. If you think they will, please come find me, because I have some beachfront property to sell you in FL!

If that isn't enough for you, 2020 is when Maryland does redistricting.

And if that isn't enough for you, please move out of this blue county and into some crazy red county - we really don't want you here.

Screw you, I vote for the better candidate, if that means I'm a racist in your eyes, I think I'll get over it. The race card being thrown around is out of control.

The only reason to vote against Hogan is to vote against what the Republicans have become to send a message. Honestly, this is really tempting and I wish Jealous wasn't such a terrible candidate.

Common Core is a local issue, not state issue. Vote out your school board if you don't like that (I agree and will vote out the incumbents).

Hogan pushed for the Purple Line, and getting numerous corporate HQs to come here or stay here. He didn't win them all, often due to MoCo's anti-business policies, but he tried.

Troll. How is Hogan racist? Heck, his wife is Asian!

I vote for the most qualified person for the job. I don't like Jealous's education plans one bit. It's not good for MoCo.

He got voted on the nice guy act, it worked, since Omalley was an a$$hole. But he has delivered nothing.

OP. I think he has done a great job, but he needs to stop endorsing republican congressmen. I’m fine with what goes on in Maryland but on the National stage there is a crisis. Hogan needs to stay out of that fight.

Would have been happy to vote for Baker, not Jealous though, you troll.

When the only retort you have is to call someone a "troll" instead of refuting them, you basically acknowledge they are correct.

Thank you.
