Honest question -- do most people like sweet pasta sauce? Sweet beans?
There are a lot of pasta sauces I can't eat because of how sweet they are. When I eat with my relatives, they serve very sweet baked beans, sweet homemade mac and cheese, and lots of other prepared food that they seem to add a lot of sugar to.
I even notice this at restaurants -- some perfectly good entree will be ruined by added sweetness. Why? It's so gross.
