This. I know a Cleo and every time I see her I have to consciously remind myself not to call her Chloe.

You have to be alone in that.

No no no. I usually try to not weigh in on these name debates because it's your child, do what you want. But this is just a NO.

Cleo - bad, do you know of the popular call-in psychic hotline Miss Cleo?? That's all I can think of.

Clio - even worse. "Cl-eye-o" to me. NO.

When I saw the spelling of Clio I first read clit. And to the PP who asked about whether this happens with any word starting with cli, no. Plus all those words are more than four letters.

Having said that, I think Cleo is the more logical spelling.

Having said that - if I really liked the name, I wouldn't care too much about that, but it's a consideration.

I think Chloe goes better with Zoe though Or maybe that's too much rhyming!

renault clio is a popular car in europe. many people say they drive "a clio".

in any case, i wouldn't use the name. it's just... out there, even you don't know how to spell it.

No, do you have this issue with all cli- words? Clinician, cliff, climate, client, clippings?

I can honestly say, no. But when I look at Clio I see it.

Just don’t do Clio Therese.
