That's the TSX - not the TLX. Vastly different cars. The TSX was built as the European Honda Accord - specifically tailored to handle like a sports sedan for sale in Europe. Op here. So what about a 2012-2014 Acura TL or Infiniti G37x?


I picked up a used 2013 G37X fully loaded off lease for about $20K back in 2015. Really fun car to drive and I havent had any problems with it. Back seats are a little tight with rear facing car seat but works fine once they are front facing.

I'd vote for Civic Si as well. It's the same size as a 3-series or A4. Sure it looks like Darth Vader's helmet, but it'll be undeniably sporty, and a sedan.

You can also go for a new Accord Sport with the 2.0T engine. It's more expensive and less nimble than the Civic but looks more grown-up and will feel more luxurious.

Audi and BMW both score higher in reliability according to Consumer Reports than both Acura and Infinity. Acura in fact is below average. You need to update your understanding of the relative reliability of the brands. Honda/Acura has lost their way while other brands have caught up and surpassed them.
