+1. You’ll probably start him in a red league this spring right? Unless he’s very unathletic, no need for private training to “catch up”. He won’t be behind the others. My kid is on a U12 rec team and many of the players (his team and opponents) aren’t that skilled. If your son is nervous then sign him up for winter training as PP suggested.

Sorry to steal this thread.

What do you look for when hiring a trainer? Nothing immediately but I would like to hire a coach for my U11 DD.

We train with ASA travel coaches in Arlington. It is $75-90 an hour.
$50 must be a college kid.
