PNC will cash out your change even if you don't have an account. Capital One will do it for account holders.

Look at other banks. Mine has a Coinstar machine but if you take your receipt from it and deposit it to your account they don’t skim off the top.

Bank of America takes it unwrapped, puts it in a plastic bag and then counts it and credits your account.

I use plastic for EVERYTHING and yet I still somehow end up with a purse full of coins. I think people throw them in when I'm not looking.

Pennies I put in the Ronald McDonald House donation box at McDonalds. Other coins I add to my SmartTrip card at the Metro farecard machines.

Different kiosks offer other gift card options such as Home Depot, Southwest Airlines, Sephora. Look around

I’d pull out a ton of quarters and go to the arcade

I also use the self check out lines as a chance to use my change. I will take a ziplock bag full (sandwich size) and just feed it in the machine. Usually its like 40 bucks. Just take a bag in my purse at a time.

My kids love to wrap coins - they'll do it for you for a 9% service fee We buy a bag of wrappers for 50 cents or something at Walmart and it keeps them very entertained.
