Subject: Husband turns 30 tomorrow
Don't let this trivial want of yours cast a shadow over his birthday. He went out with his friends the night prior to his birthday. He likely thought spending his actual birthday with you, would have been your priority. He is not just your husband. He is also a friend, son, possibly brother and father. Don't make him feel pulled in multiple directions, not able to make anyone happy. This is his birthday. A time to celebrate him. Don't make it about you.

Really? My 30th was a girls night out (slept at a friend’s) hubs was totally fine with it. Was a married mom of 3 at the time.

NP It wasn't his birthday it was the day before! Op, there is nothing magical about the day before your birthday. Even though my daughter tried to make it happen...think of her name plus "eve" after so it is like New year's eve.
You should be happy he has friends. I hope you have something special planned!
