Yeah, the lax players at STA or any other 45k tuition dc private might seem like lax bro douches, but they are choir boys compared to the true ass hats at lax factories in Baltimore, NJ and LI.

He’s a good player, maybe even considered talented, but this whole lax bro culture I’ve heard about generally, and specifically at other all boys area schools, concerns me. What’s the lacrosse culture like at St. Albans?

The boys who play lacrosse for St. Albans tend to be the more gregarious, always laughing, party loving dudes of the student body. But they are still St. Albans boys first and foremost - polite, respectful, bright, good kids.

My son said he just took the semester off for back surgery and will be back for the spring.

The boys really love Coach Hyland, I am sorry to hear that. I assume it is his back? My son always said he was in a lot of pain.

Saying all of this, I hope the new HOS gets involved in filling this job. Varsity lax coach seems high profile to me and we have been so impressed with the new HOS. Loved watching him on the sidelines talk to the boys Homecoming weekend.

Ok Kev.

If they do, they would be lucky to land Heeter. Kids love him and he knows lacrosse.

Hyland had to resign. Health issues.
