She found elevated NK activity and elevated cytokine ratios and has me on Prednisone, Plaquenil and LOTS of IVIG, but they aren't bringing my numbers down and I'm continuing to miscarry. And Dr. KK doesn't prescribe intralipids or neupogen, which are pretty much the only things left to try.
I also miscarried on IVIG, twice. I needed Neupogen, that was the missing piece for me (I have KIR AA haplotype). This was the exact reason I picked Braverman over Dr. KK as my RI to see after initially consulting with Abbasi and AEB. KK would have just given me more IVIG and we already knew that didn't work.
Same KIR AA and after 7 miscarriages ( natural) and 1 failed IVF transfer ( on Neupogen but messed up my progesterone- only 6 at 4 days past 5 day transfer of PGs embryo) we had success with Neupogen and Prednisone and Lovenox and a ton of progesterone- Oral, PIO shots (2 ml) and Crinone 2 x a day. I have antibodies that attack progesterone and the KIR AA ( my husband has the HLa C that causes the most issues with my KIR AA and my HLA C).
Abassi amd Bannen were my original team. He was awesome ! She was not as she messed up my progesterone doasage and I moved to a different RE that had much better communication but believes in RI stuff ( Wang in NYC).
