Well, he asked if he could buy me a cup a coffee and get to know me. I haven't been hit on in a while, but I'm pretty sure that's what he was doing.
The second guy wasn't as direct. He followed me around cvs and kept trying to chat me up.

Now, I'm an old lady (40s), and I'm really nothing special to look at (I look like most 40 something suburban moms). But I had two men strike up conversations this morning after dropping off the kids and doing errands--while in athleisure, no makeup, etc. One guy very obviously checked out my hand/ring finger (unless he was looking at my thighs squeezed into my yoga pants).
Maybe it's obvious that single men check for rings first and don't bother if they see them? I guess I just think it's odd to get attention when I literally look at my worst.
