All together, there are 48000 undergrads in those three schools.

By comparison, PA (which has twice as many people) has 60K students in top 100 schools. Scales to the populations, VA schools are better than > PA.

CA has 185K slots in top 100 schools, but has 5x as many people as VA.

Meh. I respect the criteria used for the WSJ rankings.

The world rankings are the gold standard.

I went to Engineering school so UVA was not even on my list.
