But I bet we'll find out within a couple days. Seems like things don't stay secret for long.
What constitutes a "senior official"?
The honorable thing to do would be for this individual to resign and go public with his/her concerns. If it really is a senior person, it could make a difference. If it is someone like an Omarosa, it would make no difference.
But whoever it is must realize he/she will not have a future in the Republican party thereafter. For this reason, I doubt it is Pence or Haley.
Make a difference how? What exactly do you think that person resigning would do, at this stage of things?
I don't think anything is changing until after the midterms, and then only if Rs lose a lot. These dumb complicit Rs are on this Trump train till it rolls off the mountain.
Exactly! The only way to get rid of this chaos and madness is to vote them all out.

I don’t think it’s her because she’s not in the White House.

It isn't anonymous to the Times staff. They know who they are talking to and are ok publishing it as a 'senior Trump official.'
Just to clarify they aren't publishing an anonymous email someone sent them, they are just not publishing the source's name.

That's a possibility. Pence has the luxury of being the only guy in the administration who can't be fired by Trump. But the author seems too grim and realistic to be Pence.
This is an extraordinary action, whoever it is. It's hard to imagine Trump surviving much longer after this.
