I did immune testing with Dr. Abassi after 2 years of TTC #2 with no luck (got pregnant on the first try with my son) and I felt like I probably had some immune issues going on. I had high NK cell testing results and one other abnormality where I didn't have an antibody that I was supposed to have. I did 4 IUIS and 3 IVFs and all were BFN. I also had a lap and an operative hysteroscopy.

After reviewing my blood test results, Dr. Abassi recommended prednisone and IVIG and more IVF. I was not comfortable with this immune protocol however because I did not want to suppress my immune system for almost a year during a pregnancy because I have a strong family history of cancer. So I decided not to do any immune treatment.

I've now been TTC #2 for a total of almost 4.5 years and I have not had a single positive pregnancy test. I have also not done any more IVFs. My son is now 5 and I got pregnant with him right away. So I feel that I do have immune issues to not have had a single positive pregnancy test in all that time after an easy pregnancy/delivery the first time around, also because I have no other issues on my Day 3 blood work and my AFC is fine, and DH is fine and we have no health issues other than secondary infertility.

If I started at 5dpo I normally started testing at 8dpo so I knew ASAP if I could go off it and wait until the next cycle. IVIG will work to get the NKs down but be aware mine spiked after my first infusion and then came down after the 2nd infusion, so it may take more than one. It's a huge clue that you were able to get pregnant on predisone. Why are the recommending lovenox? Just because of MTHFR? Is your Hashimoto's well controlled?

PP, what is your dose of Neupogen daily?

My weight based dosage was 1mcg/kg of Neupogen daily. So the more you weigh the higher the dosage and I got about a week's worth of meds from one of the larger vials.

Thanks for responding! Did you monitor your white blood cell counts, and if so, was there a target above which you were not supposed to go?

We did monitor them and no one was concerned at all with those numbers. I think at one point my WBC were 28. It's expected when you are on a medication that's job is to increase WBC.

I'm the same. KIR AA and I'm 2 C1 and DH was C1 C2 and we had matching C1. I did the same Neupogen protocol and Prednisone. I also did high dose Fish Oul. My NK cells spiked on Intralipids in my failed PGS cycle. I skipped them in my 3 day fresh transfer and it worked with Lovenox Neupogen and Prednisone and fish oil. I'm also Compound MTHFR.

I don't know anything about the matching but have results. Can someone tell me more about it? Here are results for me/husband (me first, then him):
HLA-A: 02,03 / 02,02
HLA-B: 44,56 / 07,56
HLA-C: 01,05 / 01,07
C Group Type: C1,C2 / C1,C1
