$75/month. Around 1,000 sq feet. Generally keep the thermostat on 78 or so.

$35 for a 2000 square foot house with poor insulation.

We are fine with just ceiling fans most of the time. Only 3 or 4 days a month do we run the AC.

We don't use this approach to save money ... we just like to have open windows.

With the right combination of open windows we can sometimes get a gentle breeze to flow through the house. The air feels fresher this way.

3000 sq ft, around $220 for July and August, slightly less for June. We keep the house around 77 which I find comfortable. It was built around 2001 and our insulation is terrible but ok I suppose.

Never above $220. Air on 71, home all day, ceiling fans, we're all electric, 1700 sq. ft. Have our AC serviced yearly, house and unit barely 10 years old.

I hate being hot. I'd give up anything to afford AC if I had to.

I also moved to Arizona recently and my $1000 square foot apartment was $200 for August! I only had my AC set to 80 degrees too.

Around 2000 sq ft and it was $270 last month, $200 in July. We keep it on 68 from 4pm to morning. 72 during the day.

Electric bill is $60 during the summer for our 1300 square ft home. Thermostat is on 76-77. We are surrounded by trees that help block some the beaming sun Ray's.

$36 (sometimes more/less but never over $40) for 720 sq ft apartment with thermostat set 72-74 degrees. So much better than the $200+ electric bills from my old, similarly-sized condo with geriatric systems.
