Huh? I buy Talbots in tall lengths with a 36" inseam. And they have a long hem. Unless you are 6'4" that should work.
Same here. I was a Talbots proponent on the other thread. And I only buy my work pants there because I’m 5’11” and their 36” works much better than most places 34”

YES!! So much this. I always have high hopes for the fashion forum -- I'd love to see people talk about creative ways they pull together outfits and wear their clothes. But you have to get through the morass of (a) people with weird attachments to rules (what's in, what's out, what's a "good" brand and what isn't) and relatedly, (b) all the nonsense body shaming (or self-shaming) stuff.

You forgot all the people who are still wearing what they were wearing in 2004 and insist that their look is “classic” and “timeless” and think anyone who cares about updating their look is a sheep who’s a slave to trends. Those people are much more numerous than the other categories tbh
