The Camp Experts and Teen Summers offers FREE camp advising services. We work with over 1000 camps (traditional and specialty) and programs (teen travel, community service trips, pre-college enrichment). The way we work is you tell me a little about your child and I send you personalized recommendations. I can also differentiate between the camps for you. This is all at no cost to you and there is no obligation whatsoever. Our website is www.campexperts.com and my email is lindsey@campexperts.com
I would love to chat with you and help you.

NP. For people recommending camps, is it possible for you to say a couple of sentences about what the camp is like, in the way the Alford poster did? I appreciate all the ideas because, like OP, I’m looking for a camp for next summer. My DD only wants to go for two weeks and I’d prefer electronics-free.

Thank you!![/quote

Alford Lake Camp is a fantastic girls camp in Maine. It is a traditional camp offering a wide range of activities, is electronic free, and the campers sleep in tents. Truly the most amazing place!

I went to Wyonegonic as a teen, apparently it's still around. It's all girls but there's a boy's camp nearby (Winona). Such an amazing camp and left me with many fond memories.
