I'm not sure I understand what you're saying here. The 3 of who? Wife also doesn't seem to be hiding what she's doing, so what is there to make clear? Did you read the OP or just the subject line?

Years ago, she saw a message between myself and the AP. She questioned it, asking who AP is.
I told her she was a friend of my parents. I didn’t disclose the affair then, I felt I made a stupid mistake at the time and just wanted to bury it.

The reaching out to the affair partner may not be healthy but her lashing out is COMPLETELY NORMAL given the circumstances. She has experienced a trauma.
I do understand that. That’s why the therapist should be involved to give guidance to both.

I feel bad for you OP, but just hope this former AP doesn't say too much. Either way I'll never understand why someone risks everything for some side loser. You have to take your medicine now. I would continue to ignore that OW.
